Yesterday I posted this (click here) about the missing governor of South Carolina and comments I heard repeatedly about the audacity of executive absence. Today I read this column linked at Steyn Online from Mark Steyn. Apparently it was posted yesterday but somehow I missed it until today.

I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one thinking along those lines.
